Dance for everyone
West Coast Swing (WCS) is a dynamic and playful dance for everyone, regardless of age or previous dance experience. Don't be afraid, lessons start from the very basics. The basic element of the entire dance is the walk so you don't have to worry about not being able to do it.
Modern music
WCS is known for its diversity, creativity and ability to express music. You can dance to a wide variety of modern music - slow ballads, hip hop, R&B, Latin, disco, pop and jazz - you name it. You can also use it in dance clubs, where you can mingle on the dance floor and dance to your favourite song.
Social dance
WCS is a social dance so you can find yourself on the dance floor with an unknown partner, dancing to unfamiliar music but there is still something that connects you.
It is a dance with clear rules but at the same time with the possibility of incredible freedom, variability and improvisation. No two dances are ever the same.
New skills
Even if you've never danced before, it doesn't matter. You'll push your boundaries a little further - and that's what it's all about!
